On June 24th, Operation Lady Justice Task Force members held a listening session with Native youth from across the continental United States, Alaska, and the Pacific basin to hear about the impact of missing and murdered Native Americans and human trafficking from a youth perspective.  Many of the attendees were from the Administration for Native Americans - Native Youth Initiative for Leadership, Empowerment, and Development (I-LEAD) grant projects.  Cultural Preservation Ambassadors from the Center for Native American Youth (CNAY) also attended and presented on projects they developed to address human trafficking and Missing and Murdered Native Americans in their communities.  The youth emphasized how they can take an active role in raising awareness and in prevention through closer connection to culture and traditions.
